Some of Mike's achievements include

  • Development of processes and policies to support the management of change within G & J Spencer Group and compilation of training material/guidance for HR, Safety colleagues and line managers.

  • Management of HR issues relating to outsourcing and recruitment in accordance with TUPE regulations: arranging and facilitating employee focus groups, legal compliance and advice, update presentations and management of negotiation of terms of transfer with the Unions etc.

  • Management of a project to install a system of appraisal: revision of procedural documentation, training communication and implementation.

  • Development and implementation of a framework of Employment and Safety related policies and ongoing communication of human resource initiatives, policies and negotiated joint agreements.

  • Development of guidelines for HR colleagues and line managers in relation to the communication and implementation of a major restructuring and downsizing programme within G & J Spencer Group
